On April 8, 2011, the U.S. State Department issued its annual reports on human rights practices in countries around the world. Information in these reports include country-specific practices in the areas of politics, religious, freedoms of speech and religion, and treatment of women and children.
Immigration Judges and other immigration officials often rely on these reports as credible evidence in immigration cases, especially asylum claims.
2010 country reports are the latest available reports as of today’s date.
